Qohelet Opening Reception

Join us on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 at 6pm for the opening reception of our newest exhibit "Qohelet: Searching for a Life Worth Living". Drinks & Lite Bites will be served.

In collaboration with the Baylor University Press, Art Center Waco is pleased to exhibit Debra Band's artistic illumination from "Qohelet: Searching for a Life Worth Living."

These original illuminations accompany Dr. Menachem Fisch's philosophical exposition of Ecclesiastes, a wisdom text present both in the Jewish Torah and Christian Old Testament, originally written in Hebrew. Band's vivid images reveal Qohelet's (Ecclesiastes') search for serenity and a meaningful life.

If you can't join us for the opening the exhibit will be showing from February 13th - March 16th, 2024.
