Color Sense - Using a Limited Palette

Service Description

Students will gain an understanding of mixing primary colors to achieve a variety of tones and shades needed for the colors of nature, in both earth and sky. For adults and older teens, including all levels of artists who want to develop a "color sense" for harmony of colors in their paintings. The purpose is not to complete a painting, but to learn about color through hand-on activities with acrylic paint. Supplies: Acrylic paint will be provided. Students should bring several brushes, a palette knife, and a two small canvas panels to paint on. Media paper will be provided for exercises before using panels. Disposable palettes will be available, but if you have a favorite one, bring it.
