The Art Center of Waco is excited to present an artist talk by abstract painter and Baylor art professor Winter Rusiloski on February 27 at 7 pm at the Waco Winery. This event is free and open to the public. Rusiloski co-founded Fort Worth alternative art space deadWEST, and has exhibited extensively in the U.S. and beyond.
Inspired by a wide variety of naturesque scenery, Rusiloski has become known for blending landscape paintings with abstraction. Viewers will find an array of colors and hidden images in the artist’s work.
At her first public lecture in Waco, Winter looks forward to meeting a new audience, “It’s an honor and a pleasure to get to talk about your work. It’s always interesting for me to get feedback from people about what they are thinking and seeing.” The artist will touch on her unique nature-meet-abstraction style, her inspirations, as well as the ongoing progression of her work.
The Waco Winery is located at 708 Austin Avenue on the second floor (with elevator access), Waco Texas, 76701.
