Juneteenth for All Ages @ Art Center Waco

Art Center Waco invites you to an early celebration of Juneteenth!

Come and enjoy art activities with Waco muralist Chesley Smith; listen to Juneteenth-themed story time; and learn about improv theater with Amber Bolden, Executive Director of Far-Cast theatre.

Our art project will center around the colorful art of Romare Bearden (the cover image on this page is his artwork "Three Folk Musicians".)

Meet members of Cen-Tex African American Chamber of Commerce and learn about their wonderful mission: "Strengthening our community by empowering business."

There will be a food truck on-site so that you can purchase some delicious food. More info to follow!
